Autogiro

Autogiro is Sweden’s domestic direct debit payment system, allowing businesses and organizations to automatically collect payments from a customer’s bank account on a scheduled due date, provided the customer has signed a payment mandate. The system is operated and governed by Bankgirot, the central Swedish payment infrastructure organization responsible for interbank clearing in Sweden.
